I was talking about the 5 star establishments, so you mean it is even worse in south Auckland ???
We have the weather to stand outside a pub (hotel). Unlike that miserable cloud that hangs over your island.

Good one Trinats, sorry is that you talking about the pot calling the kettle etc and whinging in the same para? Thats twice I noticed you use the "I've been to NZ" line mate know one cares that you went there but they are overjoyed that you left.
"re:WC it was always going to be dodgy when the old boys announced NZ would host it" your words old chap. Your utterances are getting more desperate with each post and the attempted insult to our Saffa friends is what I am asking the Editor to look at. There should be no place for it on these blogs. The world moves on except in certain parts of Queensland it seems.

Hung out in South Auckland did you Nats?!? Some how I doubt it. Your fleeting excursion probably had about as much relevance to kiwi life as my visit to northern Queenslland did to the rest of your fine country...you know...where all those eloquent erudites such as yourself make your native populace stand outside the pubs.
If Once Were Warriors was truly a doco, then watch out, 'cause the main character in that "doco" bares a stunning resemblance to Bobba Fet from Attack of the Clones...yeah that's right "COOK THE SITH SOME EGGS OBI WAN!!"
Oh, and for the record, making a personal attack on someone in a blog doesn't do too much to convince the rest of the world that your average Queenslander was dealt more than his fair share of chromosones in their genetic soup.

"fictional movie" my Ar%e !!! I've been to NZ and it's why you left there.
"hometown advantage for WC winners"
Did the Cursaders win the WC ? "but as usual we won't stand in the way of you and a good story"
"Ed you cracked down on that Saffa clown"
Now that is funny,,,, the Pot calling the Kettle (all) Black !
Here's a tip, put the hand bag down and sober up before putting pen to paper you are whinging as much as Franks !.

Really Trinats?!? Do you really believe the stuff you are spouting?!?
Apart from food poisoning, how do you fix a world cup??
You want to know the real reason why the AB's won the Webb Ellis last year?!? Karma. It was well past due and everyone knows it. Maybe the rest of the world is sick of hearing that the AB's are odds on favourites to win the RWC. Maybe everyone is sick of them ALWAYS being at the top of the IRB world rankings. But it was earned and deserved.
As for the Reds - they are a class team, and unlike some of my paisanos, I haven't written them off this year. They have had/do have some great impact players, and have upset some of the so-called "favourites" in the past 2 years, but to say it is the Saders best chance to win since '09?!? Really?!? Are you forgetting that the Reds lost to the Saders 10 times on the trot prior to 2010. I watched those Saders/Reds match-ups in the last 2 years (all of which were at Suncorp btw). At least two of them could have gone either way quite easily.
If the Reds were my team, I would want them to be the next Super XV dynasty too, but the fact is they are not!! At least not yet - that kind of respect has to be earned. One good season does not make them even close to being in the same league as a team that ALWAYS finishes near the top of the log.

Ben that would have been Trinats screaming in your ear (he is a bit of a girl) and if you are not a winner on Saturday well I would be surprised. My problem is that a Red's win would help my Highlanders overcome this ridiculous conference system.
By the way Trinats it was "Once were Warriors" and it was a fictional movie not a doco, but as usual we won't stand in the way of you and a good story. I see you have your usual injury woe is me this week and surprise surprise hometown advantage for WC winners and last year was a fix for the ABs. Come on Ed you cracked down on that Saffa clown for going on about conspiracies - same rules for everyone please.

I was brought up in Aus, not "once we're warriors" country (a doco of NZ for thoses of you who don't know).
re:WC it was always going to be dodgy when the old boys announced NZ would host it.
SA is a third world country and win never host it again, unless someone is lock away for 27 years and then released !
.
"Doesn't matter, best team should be able to win anywhere."
Agree, NZ could only win it in their own back yard, and the other dodgy one 1995 in SA.

Trinats2 - "the abuse he had to endure from the partisan home crowd" so your family was there too?
re RWC - I never thought NZ should have had the 2011 RWC, and I don't believe they will ever host another one; the tournament has outgrown and out-costed a small country - economically NZ is ****ed these days I see Oz are shifting call centres and manufacturing there due to low pay rates, becoming Australia's low-rent state; I'd be surprised if Australia gets another RWC for similar reasons, a lot has changed since 2003 (and that was to have been shared their stand-alone bid was initially rejected) and the crowd numbers, time zones sadly may rule against them when RWC Ltd look at proposals. All about money.
The Lions tour may be the biggest thing in Oz rugby for many years.
SA seems best suited to SH hosting RWC; someone will suggest Argentina but that will never happen. SA are best set up location, facilities and time-zone. Doesn't matter, best team should be able to win anywhere.

"I just had some woman screaming in my ear the whole time" - OK trinats, game's up we know it was you!
Back to the rugby, Reds showed they're not quite the write-offs many would want them to be this season, and expect a decent showing from them this weekend.

Toughen up princess ! Some lady given you an earful ??? At least you didn't get spit on, or is that just Auckland ?
What was disappointing was the Crusaders players leaving the field while Horwill was making his speech.
It will be the Crusaders best chance of beating the Reds since 2009, Reds still have a list of injured players unavailable.
