The Cheetahs have been playing such an exciting brand of rugby the vultures are pouncing.

No wonder he's been playing so badly of late - his mind was elsewhere

chequebook team building from ARU, wouldn't money be better spent developing locals? same situ as Henry Speight, paid not to represent Fiji at RWC so can play for Wallabies next year.

Wallabies: rent-a-team

I think that it is great that there is a "national" team where players who don't quite make the All Blacks (Cooper and others) or the Springboks (Poptop, Ebersohn, etc) can go and still play on the world stage. My fear is that Argentina will drain away some of this overflow and even some native Oz talent (such as it is), it being a far more desirable place to live (from a cultural point of view?)

It benefits the sport when a player can transfer from one country to another and play regularly, but I would have liked to see him stay with the Free State and fight for his place. He was after all born in Bloem and he went to Grey.

We are losing young talent to Australia at an alarming rate. It is very concerning as it seems that players are not too confident about their futures in SA rugby. Such a pity. Sias is having a rather frustrating season, but he is definately a great talent. Will be a major loss to the Cheetahs and SA rugby.
