The Bulls' loss to the Stormers took its toll on some of their players, who are being rested at training ahead of Friday's clash with the Rebels.

A number of players will only be able to train later this week, but there should be no injury concerns for Bulls coach Frans Ludeke in selecting his team to take on the Rebels at Loftus Versfeld.

Jacques-Louis Potgieter (concussion), Dean Greyling (elbow) and Francois Hougaard (knee) will only train on Tuesday, but will be available for selection, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed on Monday.

Jurgen Visser, who was forced out of the Stormers match before kick-off due to an abductor strain, will train on Thursday, as will Grant Hattingh (contusion) and Akona Ndungane (contusion), who both left the field in the defeat against the Stormers.
