The Bulls will have to make three injury-enforced changes for Saturday's Super Rugby clash with the Western Force in Pretoria.

Springboks Dewald Potgieter, JJ Engelbrecht and Deon Stegmann are all out of the Loftus Versfeld clash due to injuries sustained against the Stormers last weekend.

Potgieter will also miss the overseas leg of the competition (the Bulls play the Blues in Auckland in two weeks' time) as he needs three to four weeks to recover from a knee injury.

A call on Engelbrecht (hip flexor, 10 days) and Stegmann (hamstring, 10 days) will be made later.

Team doctor Org Strauss said on Monday that players like Werner Kruger (ankle) and Grant Hattingh (sick) will only train on Wednesday, but Akona Ndungane and Jacques du Plessis will be able to train immediately.

Ndungane recovered from the ankle strain that ruled him out of the Stormers clash and SA U20 flanker Du Plessis has recovered from an AC joint injury.

Wilhelm Steenkamp and Dean Greyling are on track to train with the team next week after their shoulder and foot injuries respectively.

Jan Serfontein (quad) and Ulrich Beyers (ankle) will also join the fray on Wednesday.
