Pikes.... you really a twat - nothing i hate more than you dooses who cheer on the AB's at Newlands... many of us begrudgingly admire their game and whilst we may have had to put up with all kinds of crap and political bullsh1t and bizarre selections etc... but we NEVER EVER EVER turn our back on our boys.

Not sure how Stirlo makes 13? A) he only played for 20 mins, and B) he played at 12 when he was on. His impact was that of enthusiasm and a couple of slow motio car wreck style tackles but overall his selection is a bit harsh on Mitch Inman who led the defensive line for the Rebels all game and barely gave Robbie Fruean any room to move for the full 80mins.

@docjanks, yea they did win but out of them only the Sharks looked good getting their win, the bulls were lucky to win their game as were the stormers...not taking anything away from them, they just looked below par this past weekend.
if you ask me, this weeks team should be dominated by the Reds and the Rebels who faced and thrashed tougher opponents...no offense to Tahs and Force fans :)

Let me guess Pikes, you're one of those Sonny Bill Willemse specials who prances around Newlands in an All Black jersey while mistakenly waving the Australian flag. Bet you couldn't point New Zealand out on a map.

Not saying he should displace Manu in the selection, but Gareth Delve deserves a mention for the way he led the Rebels to that great win over the Crusaders

"""9 Nick Phipps (Rebels): Played a vital role in the Rebels' upset win over the Crusaders by scoring two of his team's three tries. Wallabies coach Robbie Deans, who was watching in the stands, would have been pleased.""
Oh, Robbie! Robbie! Did you or your mother or father ever imagine such things would be written about the former Crusaders and All Blacks coach? Do you ever cry in your bed? Was it worth it?
@APV1
""Once again it reads like a Who's Who of Mediocrity.""
Is this typical English sketch humour then? Say the same joke week after week after week after ... ?
By the way, APV1 is a very odd mouthful to address. What is wrong with calling yourself Algonquin Pilchardt Vasco? But don't expect me to call you the first. There are already too many parvenus bearing that name.

great selections. gill, braid, beale, phipps, beast, sonny bill and savea all no-brainer choices. thought charlie f deserved the 3 spot before he went down.
liam gill was player of the week. that kid is a freak. one can only imagine the sort of pocockesque career he should start having soon.
Bones7 -- mmm yeah. i suspect all three will be there somewhere although i think hodgson deserves number 6.

Sharks, Bulls, Stormers win and only 4 South African players in the team. I am beginning to wonder!

With the games I saw cannot really argue. Beal has found his slot at No 10, Think we have seen the last of QC there and anywhere in the Wannabie line up really.
APV! you must remember that we only have to be mediocre to beat you lot up there.

Robbie Deans must be scratching his head thinking about what to do with Pocock, Hooper and Gill and even than monster Vaea. They have a real embarassment of riches for the 7 jersey at the moment. Some Smith-Waugh double openside action is going to end up going on I think as none of the blindsides have shone anywhere near as brightly as these guys, especially since Higginbotham has been playing 8.
