I think that enough has been said about the 'not proven' allegations of gouging.

What is really sad, is that the SH has caught the 'booing disease'. This ONLY detracts from the quality of rugby being played on the pitch.

We should ALL be adopting the Munster approach - where there is a tradition of silence at Thomond Park regardless of which ever team is kicking for goal.

Can we not put the days of booing the opposition onto the pitch behind us - this happened a few years ago in Auckland to the Wallabies. The ungracious crowd at Eden Park cheered their own team onto the pitch and then proceeded to boo the Wallabies onto the pitch..... This was appallingly bad mannered display..... But sadly such behaviour only reflects the tolerance of antisocial behaviour in our own communities.... and it has become the norm rather than the exception.

That there is "No evidence" sounds to me like that Scottish verdict of "Not Proven".

I Iike New Zealanders but for me to accept that all New Zealanders are "men of integrity"? Whom are you kidding? Not since the days of the punch drunk Skinner can you expect to be believed........ Something happened!!!

The Crusaders captain protests as loudly as their coach - in truth they both protest too loudly!

To whit, the captains tactic is to attempt to intimidate the referee - the Crusaders were palpably guilty of blocking and shepherding in the match against the Bulls and incurred two crucial penalties for their transgessions. Did I hear someone shouting from the parapets "Integrity, Integrity"

Or was it something fork-tongued muttering in the grass?

Well done the BULLs on scoring more points than the Crusaders.

But less well done on your attempts to score psychological points by claiming that Crusaders players were responsible for 'gouging'. The available evidence has pointed to this being little more than a vexatious claim.

Various complaints were made to the referee during the match, the referee used a 'white card' to signal to other officials that an 'offense' may have occurred..... However, the Bulls Team management never followed up with a 'formal complaint' within the four hour period after the match; the Citing Commissioner reviewed the video evidence from all available angles (i.e. other angles that are often not shown to the television viewers) and dismissed the claims as 'having no basis what so ever'

It is now time for the BULL's management to claim back some moral high ground by issuing a formal apology to the Crusader's Team, for making a reckless and unsubstantiated claims against them. The BULL's management should also investigate each player involved in making these claims and take their own internal action in order to protect the good name of their own team.

Should blatant cheating, such as this be condoned? No of course not!

The mentality of Leebok is there for all to see. His posts are always about how the system picks on the bokke and all its teams how the world of rugby persecutes the bokke but bends over to support any kiwi indiscretion. Of course it is those cheating kiwis who manipulate the system always have and always will. What is worse the IRB condone it and encourage it. However if the bokke or any saffa team gets in first and manipulates the system well hey thats ok in his eyes. Really how can you argue against this biased and insular mentality. By the way the Citing commissioner has found there is no case to answer and it raises the question about false allegations. Blackadder has asked for an apology lets see if the Crusaders get one. All that needs to be said is we are sorry we truly believed our player was eye gouged however their is no proof that happened and so we unreservedly apologise for our claim. At the same time the Bulls CEO could announce that the Bulls franchise is placing a life ban on the crazed fan who invaded the pitch and threw a bottle at Meleamu. We wait to see what will happen with interest. After all even the lowest scum like NZers deserve an apology when wronged.

Rule number 1. keep your mouth shut.

Bemused over eye-gouging............

He'll be interested in the outcome.......

If you're come out with statements like that then please carry on and tell us what you will think if a guilty party is found in your team.

Concerned the new system could be manipulated?

If it's on the video.... it's on the video.. if not then.... what?

White cards don't accumulate if there is no supporting evidence.
