Kane Barrett sent off for Blues

Suspended: Kane Barrett

Blues flanker Kane Barrett has been handed a two-week suspension after pleading guilty to twice contravening Law 10.4 (b) against the Chiefs.

The SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Nicholas Davidson QC has accepted guilty pleas from Barrett for twice stamping or trampling after he was cited in one instance and red carded in another during Saturday's game in Auckland.

Barrett has been suspended from all forms of the game up to and including August 1, 2013.

The cited incident occurred in the 20th minute and the red card incident in the 22nd minute of the match between the Blues and Chiefs on July 13.
