Wulf has a 2 year contract he is trying to break - signed with Blues and with North Harbour in ITM Cup. All about money!!

from today's NZ news: Blues departures confirmed Jerome Kaino, Chris Lowrey, Tevita Mailau, Lachie Munro, Benson Stanley, Isaia Toeava; possibly leaving: Daniel Braid, Alby Mathewson, Brad Mika, Ma'a Nonu, Sherwin Stowers, Piri Weepu

goodluck to him, he isnt in AB calculations with the wing depth so i hope he gets his nice fat pay check

rugbyheim-- i take issue with that. he was injured most of the time! in my experiences its hard to "fire" when you are injured.

No loss there, as he never really fired for the Blues. (As too with everybody else)

rakavi187 - early in the season the NZ Herald reported 10 of the Blues were off contract at end of 2012 season and had indicated they were not going to re-sign for 2013.

Who remembers the original squad though? - they have lost so many to injury, the team some thought would be a top 6 was a big fail.

and another leaves the Blues. Wulf back to Toulon, Mailau off to Mont-de-Marsan, Munro to somewhere in France, who's next???

Next Blues coach better do some serious scouting work during the ITM comp to get better players next season.

@Bones7 - not good enough for ABs, and seems to be a Luke McCallister toing & froing between France & NZ.

Rudi Wulf is a fantastic player in my opinion. Outside gas, hard defence and up there with Cory Jane at contesting for high balls at his best. Shame NZ couldn't get more use out of him but that's the nature of the All Blacks beast I suppose.
