The Blues one win of the season was at Loftus, against the Bulls, one of the hardest games to win in Super Rugby.

Anscombe played that day, and led his team well.

Pat Lam has cried on TV because of supposed racial slurs against his family, If Anscombe was not white, would he have been dropped???

Lam should've never dropped him. Last year Gareth was building nicely. He was ready to take control of the backline this year. But Lam decided to select Hobbs and an unfit Weepu ahead of him. When he finally got his chance in a confidence deflated team, he did well with the meagre ball he got. Lam drops him again, even making him a scapegoat of sorts. Its criminal what the Blues have done with his development.
