Gosh you are right, I fielded a 16 man squad, like the Poms. Shame on me.

I'm starting to think Ryan Crotty is one of the writers of this column...
Otherwise a pretty good reflection of who played well this week (wouldn't necessarily say the best though, but not as far off as usual).
Hosea Gear was best overall for me - he played brilliantly! Seems like that All Black stint did the trick.

Hi PR,
Regarding position number 3 you needn't tell us that a Kiwi is pencilled in. I believe that every position has a Kiwi pencilled in at the start of each week by yourselves. An Australian has to play 110% better to oust the Kiwi and the SA players are split into two categories. A Sharks/Bulls player needs to play 120% better, and a Stormer needs to be at least 160% above the performance of everyone else. This team of the week feature is corrupt.

Isnt that only 4 Ozs there Carpelone? Your eyes might be going funny from watching too much TV, that's not a good example to be setting for your son!

Trinats will be shattered, only one from the Red's and they won by the second largest margin - what? Oh it was just the Rebels they beat!!

I thought Brussow where very good even in a loosing team...I can`t definitely say that he deserves a place ahead of Kimlin because I did watch the Brumbies game...

@ daibok - Waldrom was riding a donkey on Blackpool beach come Sunday. And he pushed a small child over and stole his ice cream!
(Who wants to tell Dylbull..?)

8 out of 15 Kiwis, 5 out of 15 Ozs, 3 SAs.
You forgot McCaw. I would put him both at 6 and 7 for this team of the Weaks.
The ref must be Bryce Lawrence, his only problem is that he can not accommodate both Kiwi teams.

@APV1 - the 15 above and their team-mates?!?!?
a rugby team only has 15 players first of all....
and I'm not sure what super 15 you're watching, but to call players like Aaron Cruden, Franscois Hougaard, Hosea Gear, Conrad Smith, Wyatt Crockett and Craig Clarke mediocre is just plain idiotic, Haskell is only starting for the Highlanders because of an injury to another player and hasn't been a stand out loose forward at all this season.

Got to agree with APV1. Why wasnt Waldron in there? I know he didnt play but he was the man of the June tours and he was seen playing on the beach at Cleethorpes on Saturday.

I can't believe that Haskell isn't the first name on the list. He was the only player of any note throughout Round 17 (and before).
I'm stuggling to find an alternative word in place of "mediocre", but that's all I can come up with to describe the 15 above and their team-mates.
