Ripzy007 - I read your comment after I posted first time ... agree entirely ... having McCabe in the Wallabies at the expense of Giteau weakened the Wallabies immeasurably and while this wasn't the reason for the Wallabies doing so poorly (the Wallabies ever-weak forward pack was the main culprit there) it certainly didn't help their campaign. Giteau could have covered for Cooper when Cooper went missing in action ...
sukkadoits - I have some sympathy with your view but it wasn't that McCabe was particularly poor - he is a solid player and defended unbelievably particularly in the South Africa quarter final - it is just that Giteau is a fantastic player and would have suited the Australian backline far better than McCabe.

The Chiefs will be hammering his channel, and not only with SBW. McCabe at 12 was not an inspired selection by Robbie Deans and I can't see him changing things in this game. Actually, selecting McCabe at 12 for the Wallabies was a blunder and he was a weak focal point for all teams playing the Wallabies.
