Worcester Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan is set to look for new signings to cover key injuries to his squad.

Argentina international Leonardo Senatore is the latest casualty at Sixways after last week's loss to Sale.

Senatore departed early from the match to join Semesi Taulava and Jake Abbott on the sidelines, leaving Worcester's back-row options a little thin.

Lock Chris Jones is able to cover at number eight but Ryan is reportedly after an out-and-out openside to compensate for the loss Abbott to a severe ACL injury, according to Worcester News.

Scrum-half Jonny Arr is another injury concern, as Worcester battle for survival nine points adrift at the bottom of the Aviva Premiership.

"We are definitely looking for a back-rower now because we are down to the bare bones," Ryan told Worcester News.

"Senatore looks like he's done a rib cartilage.

It was pretty innocuous, so maybe he got an elbow or something as he was going into a ruck."
