Strettle crossed the line nine times in the 2012/13 Premiership season - including setting a new Premiership record with a hat-trick inside 20 minutes against Worcester Warriors.
His performances on the wing also saw him earn a recall to the full England squad and he toured Argentina with his country.
He joined Saracens from London neighbours Harlequins at the start of the 2010/11 season. Strettle marked his first-team debut with a try against Leeds Carnegie and the flyer had an impressive campaign in which he made 30 appearances.
A try scorer on his debut for England against Ireland at Croke Park, he has been part of England's last two Six Nationals campaigns.
Earlier in his career, he had created IRB Sevens history when scoring five first-half tries on his debut against Papua New Guinea.
He played rugby league from the age of five, switched to Lymm RUFC and had football trials for Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool.
He was educated at Lymm HS and Sheffield Hallam University, where he obtained a Sport Science degree and joined Harlequins in 2006-07 from Rotherham Titans, for whom he had scored a hat-trick of tries on his debut.
With thanks to Saracens
