Northampton Saints are still waiting for England prop Alex Corbisiero's return to full fitness, over five months since his last appearance.
Corbisiero last ran out for his new club against Castres in the Heineken Cup last October, but has been sidelined with a knee injury picked up during the November Tests with England.
The 25-year-old has been plagued by knee problems over the last few years, but started and scored the British and Irish Lions last year in Australia.
Having missed the Six Nations, Northampton now hope to bring Corbisiero back before the end of the season.
Director of rugby Jim Mallinder also addressed injuries to Calum Clark, Stephen Myler and Sam Dickinson ahead of the final six Premiership matches.
"Alex is very positive and we're looking forward to him coming back at some stage this season," Mallinder told the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.
"Calum is fine. He just got a bit of a blow to his leg so he hobbled off.
"He could have probably carried on and he's fine. He'll be available for this weekend.
"We're hopeful with Stephen Myler, who is making good progress, but Sam Dickinson is probably going to be another week."
