Sale boss Steve Diamond has made four changes to his line-up ahead of their Premiership clash with Wasps at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday.

Ross Harrison, Tommy Taylor, Kirill Kulemin and Rob Miller are all promoted as starters, with Eifion Lewis Roberts, Marc Jones, Johnathan Mills and Phil MacKenzie taking their places on the bench.

Danny Cipriani is named in the 23 for the first time this season as one of the replacements.

Meanwhile for Wasps, lock Kearnan Myall will make his competitive debut for the club against his former side.

Myall appeared for Wasps in pre-season but an ankle injury kept him out of the opening league games. He replaces Tom Palmer to pack down alongside Joe Launchbury, with Palmer not having quite recovered from an arm injury picked up against Exeter last weekend.

Myall's inclusion is one of four changes to the starting team.

After positive impacts off the bench last weekend, Ben Jacobs and Charlie Davies come into the team, while Italian hooker Carlo Festuccia also makes his first competitive debut. Nathan Hughes and Joe Carlisle are named on the bench.

"Charlie Davies and Ben Jacobs both played well off the bench last weekend and deserve their chance to start," director of rugby Dai Young said.

"We're looking forward to seeing what Carlo Festuccia can bring to us up front with his huge international experience - he will certainly bring some added physicality.

"Nathan Hughes comes onto the bench having done well in the A games in recent weeks and this is a game we are looking forward to. We're expecting a big physical challenge against Sale Sharks so we will certainly need to front up."

Form: Sale Sharks tripped up at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday when they were defeated by the narrowest of margins by newly promoted Newcastle - thus ending a four game home winning run in all competitions. London Wasps have now lost their last ten encounters in all competitions, but have not been defeated in their first three games of a new Aviva Premiership Rugby season since 2008/09. Wasps have beaten the Sharks just once in their last five meetings in all competitions: 25-18 at Adams Park in December 2012. The Londoners have won just once on Sharks soil since 2005.
