Irish move Tom Court

London Irish have announced the signing of Ireland and British and Irish Lions loosehead prop Tom Court from Ulster for the 2014/15 season.

The 33-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Aviva Premiership side.

Court has played 143 times for Ulster, scoring 10 tries.

"Tom is a terrific signing for the club as we look to add steel to the pack," said director of rugby Brian Smith.

Court added: "I have enjoyed eight fantastic seasons at Ulster and will leave the club with many happy memories.

"London Irish is a new challenge and one I am looking forward to. There is still a lot of work to do for the remainder of this season at Ulster and that will be my immediate focus."
