London Irish's Jonathan Fisher has signed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until 2016.
The versatile forward is a capable of playing in both the second row and back-row.
Exiles Director of Rugby Brian Smith, was delighted to have secured the immediate future of a player whom he describes as "extremely gifted."
Fisher, who is currently nursing an injury, had a short spell in Sevens, which could explain his impressive work-rate.
Smith believes Fisher's career will continue to flourish.
"I believe Jon can launch his international career from London Irish," he told the club's official website.
"He is enthusiastic, a great character and epitomises what our squad is about," he added.
The player himself was equally pleased having inked his new deal.
"I'm delighted to extend my contract with London Irish," he said."I consider it a privilege to wear the London Irish jersey whenever the opportunity arises.
"We have a committed, talented and ambitious group of players who are keen to push on over the next few seasons. I plan on being part of a successful team and will do everything in my power to contribute all that I can," he concluded.
25-year-old Fisher has made 29 appearances for London Irish since joining the club's academy in July 2007.
