He was a schoolboy rugby star in Christchurch who went to rugby league in Sydney. Unfortunately he got himself into trouble off the field. Hopefully that`s all behind him now.

@ jamesliveinhope - I agree. Bath didn't do well with Robinson and, as such, are being much more cautious with Eastmond. Given time to adjust, this guy could be awesome too.

@ArmchairGeneral, he's played union before so I don't think he's as much of a risk as some players, and is still young at 24 so has time on his side.

Lost a little bit of dynamism with the loss of Mapasua who was outstanding for Oirish, presume that this signing was to replace him.
Best success stories for League converts have come when teams haven't tried to rush players into form.
