Thomas Waldrom: Off to Exeter?

According to reports in the English press, Thomas Waldrom will leave Leicester at the end of the season to join Premiership rivals Exeter Chiefs.

The Leicester Mercury reports that the New Zealand-born former England international will head to Sandy Park on the three-year deal.

The 30-year-old has struggled for regular first team game time this term, starting just four of Tigers' 12 league games.

The newspaper says that Tigers were not going to offer Waldrom a contract extension when is current deal expires at the end of the season after a four-year stay at Welford Road.

The ex-Crusader has made 105 appearances for Leicester since arriving in 2010 but has recently fallen behind Jordan Crane in the battle for the number eight jersey.
