David Denton: Off to Tigers?

Edinburgh and Scotland back-row David Denton has been linked with a surprise move to one of the Premiership's biggest clubs.

The Rugby Paper, which has recently commenced publication north of the border, reports that Denton could be on his way to Leicester Tigers as a replacement for England number eight, Thomas Waldrom.

With Waldrom soon to be out of contract at Welford Road, Tigers boss Richard Cockerill is said to be keen to secure the services of the 23-year-old, who has 14 Scotland caps to his name.

Denton himself is also believed to be out of contract come the end of the season, and has impressed for Edinburgh in their opening RaboDirect Pro12 and Heineken Cup fixtures.
