Danny Care Harlequins Worcester try 2013

Two for Quins: Danny Care

Danny Care and Nick Evans scored two tries apiece as Harlequins romped to a 42-26 Premiership victory over Worcester at Sixways Stadium on Saturday.

22 points in the final 30 minutes saw Harlequins take the game away from Worcester following an even first half.

Worcester headed into the game on the back of a disappointing losing run, while Quins were on a high following their win over Bath.

But the formbook was turned on it's head when Chris Pennell opened the scoring on 13 minutes following excellent work by Josh Drauniniu.

Andy Goode added the conversion, but Harlequins quickly bounced back, and within five minutes they were in front through Nick Evans' mini-haul of ten points.

Evans then booted Quins to within a converted try from a penalty, and scored Quins' first try following some excellent build-up play from the visiting pack.

But Goode kicked Worcester back in front with two penalty goals following Quins indiscipline, and there were yet more points before half-time.

Unconverted tries from Tom Williams and Care made it 12-22, before Goode kicked a penalty on the stroke of half-time to narrow the arrears.

A frantic start to the second half then saw Worcester take the lead through a converted try from Alex Grove and a Goode penalty goal.

Again, Harlequins roared back and this time they would defend their lead for the remainder of the game. Care's try on 50 minutes made it 26-25 and, though the conversion was missed, Evans' penalty goal shortly after put Quins in front, and he collected a rebounding ball to add his second try soon after, converting the effort, to make it 26-35.

Quins then sealed the win in the final ten minutes through Mike Brown's try, converted by Evans, who finished the game with a personal tally of 22.
