Tommy Seymour: Scored two tries

Glasgow extended their unbeaten run to five matches with a 24-13 victory over Treviso in a PRO12 clash at Stadio Monigo on Saturday.

Tommy Seymour scored two late tries to secure the win which moves Gregor Townsend's side back into the top-four in the standings.

It was the hosts who took a 10-6 lead into the interval through Manoa Vosawai's touchdown and Kris Burton's penalty.

Ruaridh Jackson responded for Glasgow with two three-pointers before he and substitute Scott Wight added further scores in the second period.

A Tobias Botes penalty regained the advantage for Treviso, but Seymour's late interventions secured the points for the visitors.

Despite enjoying an excellent run of form in the league, the Warriors came into this game off the back of successive Heineken Cup defeats.

They initially reacted well to those disappointments as fly-half Jackson kicked early penalties for a 6-0 lead.

The wet conditions certainly didn't allow for free flowing rugby, but the Italian outfit managed to get over the try-line from a line-out when Vosawai powered across the whitewash.

Burton added the extras before the stand-off kicked a further three points from the tee.

Although Treviso were perhaps the more dangerous team, both sides were unsurprisingly failing to ascertain complete control as the match remained 10-6 to the hosts at half-time.

Jackson immediately reduced the arrears after the break, but the visitors were struggling to deal with the home side's driving game.

However, the Scottish team managed to repel the opposition's attack and go up the other end themselves, and when the hosts infringed, substitute Wight slotted a penalty.

The maul was continuing to cause problems for Glasgow, though, and Tim Swinson was sin-binned after bringing it down.

Although they immediately fell behind to a Botes three-pointer, going down to 14 men seemed to inspire the Warriors and Seymour's tries gained a crucial victory.
