Former New Zealand Rugby League international Krisnan Inu has signed with Top 14 club Stade Franšais as an injury replacement.
The 27-year-old joins the Parisian club as a medical joker to fill the gap left by France full-back Hugo Bonneval's long-term knee injury.
Bonneval ruptured cruciate ligaments during the third Test against the Wallabies in June and is unavailable for six months.
Inu has been released by NRL club Canterbury as he switches codes to sign with the French rugby union.
Inu, who also had a stint with Parramatta, has been inconsistent this season and has played just seven NRL games. Despite having signed with the Bulldogs until next year, he has been granted a release by the club.
