Top 14 side Bayonne unveiled former Test prop Pat Noriega on Wednesday as their new coach, along with assistant Nicolas Morlaes.
Noriega played internationally for Argentina and Australia, and has for the last two seasons been coaching in Paris, firstly with Racing Métro and then Stade Français.
The 41-year-old signed a two-year-deal with Bayonne and will be assisted in the Basque country by ex-scrum-half Morlaes, 35, who steps up from the club's youth teams.
Also joining the squad are Australian fly-half Blair Stewart (Grenoble), Georgian prop Giorgi Jgenti (Perpignan) and Lucas Pointud, another prop, from ProD2 club Tarbes.
Bayonne finished last season in 10th place, only three points clear of safety.
