Former France coach Marc Lièvremont and his brother Thomas have been linked to move back to soon-to-be relegated Biarritz.
The Basque club's relegation from the Top 14 is likely to be confirmed this weekend as they travel to Perpignan (BO are 20 points short of safety with five rounds to play) and president Serge Blanco has already started plans for rebuilding the team both on and off the field.
Earlier this month Biarritz released a statement denying reports that Marc Raynaud and Sébastien Calvet would take over from current coaches Didier Faugeron and Laurent Rodriguez.
L'Equipe reports however that the Lièvremont brothers are the favourites to take over at the helm of the four-time French champions and two-time European Cup runners-up.
Since being sacked as France coach following defeat to New Zealand in World Cup Final, Marc Lièvremont has worked as a consultant for French television station Canal +.
Thomas Lièvremont was fired from his role at Bayonne at almost the same time in December 2011. He also works for Canal +.
The duo have worked together before, notably at Dax where Marc began his coaching career and Thomas ended his playing career.
They both played in the colours of BO, Marc from 2000 to 2002 and Thomas from 2000 to 2007, winning the French Championships in 2002, 2005, 2006.
