Blair Stewart Grenoble v Bordeaux begles

At fly-half for Grenoble: Blair Stewart

Grenoble will be aiming to climb into the leading trio in the Top 14 standings as they travel to Bordeaux-Bègles on Friday.

In just their second season in the top flight, les Grenoblois have been the surprise package and currently lie in fourth place, just one point behind defending champions Castres and three clear of European champs Toulon, whom they shocked in Round 16.

Fabrice Landreau's side are undefeated since mid-December but will nevertheless face a stiff battle against a UBB outfit that have lost just once at home this season.

Bordeaux, who lie in 10th place, just three points clear of the relegation zone, know they must win or risk slipping in the dog fight for survival.

Grenoble welcome back Australian hooker Anthony Hegarty, who features for the first time since being knocked out against Stade Français in mid-December.

Loose forward Jonathan Best, who has just signed a two-year contract extension, will captain the side because both Andrew Farley and Fabien Gengenbacher have been named amongst the replacements.
