Former England international fly-half Olly Barkley has departed Top 14 side Grenoble by mutual consent, ending a forgetful stint at Stade Lesdiguières.
The 32-year-old, who has had rugby tenures with Bath, Gloucester and Racing Métro, agreed with the club that moving on would be for the best.
"Olly Barkley is no longer part of the squad," a Grenoble club official confirmed on Wednesday.
"Grenoble weren't able to integrate Olly into their gameplan. It was in his interest and that of the club that we went our separate ways."
Barkley was Grenoble's top earner in their squad but started only three games, scoring five points.
