Argentinian points scorer Benjamín Urdapilleta will remain at Oyonnax after signing a one-year contract extension.
Formerly at Harlequins, Urdapilleta has been used at fly-half by the promoted side and starred in several of their stunning victories over more established sides in the Top 14.
Urdapilleta has scored 135 points so far this season, the fifth-highest number in the league, playing his part in wins over Clermont, Castres and Toulon at home.
The Argentinian international's extension takes him until the end of 2015 at the club, regardless of whether Oyonnax avoid relegation this season.
Last season's ProD2 champions currently occupy the second relegation spot in 13th - eight points clear of Biarritz - but are also level on points with Bayonne in what is set to be a tense relegation battle.
