Fresh contract: Alexis Palisson

Toulon wing Alexis Palisson has said that he has put pen to paper on a two-year deal extension with the option of a third campaign at Stade Felix-Mayol.

French international Palisson, who is currently on the sidelines with a back injury, was not included in Philippe Saint-Andre's squad for November.

But he has been handed some good news off the field as on Wednesday it was confirmed he had agreed to extend his stay at the Top 14 giants.

"I re-signed for several reasons: the enthusiasm around the club, the fans, the living environment, results and of course the great atmosphere in the team," he told Toulon's official website.

"With regards to my fitness, I am doing rehabilitation on the bike, in the pool and also a bit of fitness. I am doing this without pain. I should resume non-contact workouts in a month."
