Danie Rossouw: Will join Toulon in February

Toulon have strengthened their squad by signing former Blue Bulls and Springboks utility forward Danie Rossouw.

According to reports in the French media Toulon's billionaire owner Mourad Boudjellal has confirmed that Rossouw, who can play at lock or on the flank, has signed a deal with the Top 14 club that will keep him in France until June 2014.

Rossouw who played the last of his 63 Tests for South Africa at the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand, is currently playing for the Suntory Sungoliaths in Japan.

It is reported that the presence of Rossouw's former Springboks and Bulls team-mate Bakkies Botha at Toulon helped convince him to make the move and he is set to join Toulon in February.

Botha expressed his delight on Rossouw's impending move on Twitter.

"I'm happy my life time friend Danie Rossouw is joining me next year at club RCT in France," he tweeted.

@GCP_Jones&Tonbomb

Once again i have to say im not anti irish or any club,I was just saying that Tooulon just keep building a dynamite squad,and atm ,i cant see anyone matching them for quality in depth,not even the present european champions.Personnally im not bothered who wins the Heinieken cup ,as long as the games are all hard fought close battles..Sorry if i gave that impression honestly ,it wasnt intended.

Well looks like Toulon are going to ensure ,that even their 2nd string is going to be world class.Definatly favourites in my eyes for this seasons HEC,if they can be bothered.No way can Leinster or any other club atm ,match their squad depth in regards to quality players.End of irish wining streak is nigh imo.
