Club-less: Rocky Elsom

The 75-cap international loose forward recently saw his contract with Japanese club Kobe Steelers terminated after failing to satisfy their requirements in medical tests.
Elsom was recently spotted at the Toulon training centre where he met with with Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal and manager Bernard Laporte.
According to local newspaper La Provence, the 29-year-old will not be being joining the ambitious Top 14 club after his injured shoulder was given the red light by the Toulon medical staff.

Couldn't agree more - for the money Elsom would most likely ask for, and to already fail a medical... this was was always the right call.
I'd love to see him get back to the form he showed in his season at Leinster... he was a beast!

Im surprised they didn't buy him, they have made some interesting signings in the past, they have got it wrong more times than right but that being said have bought in some gems as well with the likes of Wilkinson, Giteau and S.Armitage
