Good for him. He knows just as much as everyone else that he's not going to make the All Blacks and that he's struggling at the Blues. Cut your losses and find new options seems to be the winning stance!

Jmanngod - agree, def one in the journeyman/provincial class, handy to have in the ITM Cup level matches as a utility, but bewildered with the pace of Super Rugby. Good move for him, reached his peak maybe as he would never, ever, be considered for ABs, working holiday in France a sensible career move.
