XP to provide licensed merchandise
USA Rugby announced today that it has signed an official licensing agreement with XP Companies, a manufacturer of private label apparel based in Denver, Colorado.
According to the details of the agreement, XP now becomes a licensed merchandise provider for USA Rugby. The deal also allows XP the rights to develop exclusive event-specific merchandise which will be sold to local organizing committees.
XP will also host, maintain and provide product fulfillment for one of USA Rugbys online stores featuring non-high performance apparel. This new online store, which went live on Dec. 13, will feature the USA Rugby licensed apparel product line, to include new T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, polo shirts, youth and infant wear, with additional products to be added on an ongoing basis.
XP Companies has provided an exceptional standard of quality, in both its service and products, for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the majority of its National Governing Bodies, thus they were an obvious partner for USA Rugbys merchandise. We are glad to have them on board, said David Voth, Vice President of Business Development of USA Rugby. Rugby is a great look, and I am thrilled to offer new and exciting casual wear for the rugby community.
Sharing a common vision, XP and USA Rugby look to provide USA Rugbys membership with extra values and incentives, such as free shipping and occasional discounts for large orders placed online.
This new relationship between XP and USA Rugby allows both organizations to really focus on their unique areas of expertise, thus allowing us all to better serve the members of USA Rugby, XPs Kathy Canova said.
