England duo Chris Cracknell and Mat Turner face spells out of the game after sustaining injuries on the first day of the IRB Gold Coast Sevens.
Turner, the Series leading try-scorer last season, broke his right ankle in the win against Spain.
In the same game, experienced forward Cracknell suffered Anterior Cruciate Ligament damage.
Both players will be reassessed by England when they return to the United Kingdom on Tuesday.

The best forward in the England Sevens team and the best back as well. What a blow in the first game of the first leg! There is no way England can hope to win the series this year without them.
