Israel Dagg: On Ranfurly Shield duty with Hawke's Bay

New Zealand's coaching team have released 10 players from their squad to play in the third round of the ITM Cup.

Auckland will be the main beneficiaries with three All Blacks - Charlie Faumuina, Charles Piutau and Steven Luatua - available for their home game with Tasman on Sunday.

Hawke's Bay will also be boosted by the return of Israel Dagg for their Ranfurly Shield challenge against Counties Manukau in Pukekohe on Saturday.

The All Blacks' next Rugby Championship match is against Argentina in Napier on September 6.

All Blacks released to play in the ITM Cup:
Charlie Faumuina (Auckland), Charles Piutau (Auckland), Steven Luatua (Auckland), Colin Slade (Canterbury), Joe Moody (Canterbury), Tawera Kerr-Barlow (Waikato), TJ Perenara (Wellington), Jeremy Thrush (Wellington), Israel Dagg (Hawke's Bay), Nathan Harris (Bay of Plenty).
