Counties Manukau have announced their team to play Otago in their first ITM Cup Ranfurly Shield match, in Pukekohe on Saturday.
There are three changes to the starting fifteen which drew against Taranaki last week. Onosa'i Auva'a comes in at openside flanker, Baden Kerr at fly-hal and Rey Lee-lo at outside centre.
Tim Nanai-Williams returns to the side after the birth of his first child on the bench and is joined by Maama Viapulu and Ahsee Tuala.
Head coach Tana Umaga said his side are looking forward to their match in front of a home crowd with the Ranfurly Shield on the line.
"Obviously Otago are a real threat and the way they started means we need to be on top of our game," he explained.
"We need to make improvements from last week but we have had another week together bedding down our style of play, which has been good for us."
