SACannuck... some people handle the preasure better than others, Pocock strikes me as someone who thrives on it

Hopefully we`ll see next year a truly competitive aussie side. The reds were good last year, but not on the long run and this year they only made it to the quarters because of the curious way the super rugby is organized. I personally would favor a 2 conferences type of program. Then semifinals between the first 2 in each group and final in a neutral venue. This way we`ll have fewer games, the boks will have their sixth team and the world rugby schedule will be saved. If White can do something with the Brumbies - He already did this year, but they chocked at the end - then he will confirm that he is a really good coach and that the boks won in 2007 because of how they played, not because they had weak opposition.

Watch out for Brumbies next year. With or without Pocock, JW knows how to win games and you'll be seeing a whole new Brumbies outfit and confidence next year. The problem with AUS teams is they don't play test style rugby at franchise level. jW will bring that discipline.

Semi finalists no problem.

I think Jake White knows how to win rugby matches and is smart enough to know that you can't impose a SA game plan on an Australia Super Rugby team. The players have completley different attributes. South Africans wear shorts and value the set piece while Australians wear pink tutus and fairy wings and prance about and run away from the opposition screaming stuff like "not the face not the face!" Horse for courses, You can't expect Australians to play like the RWC winning Springboks did under Jake.

If he had a Richie McCaw or Pocock when he was Springbok coach i'm sure he would have changed his mind ;)

Is this the same Jake White that doesn't believe there is place for a fetcher in world rugby?

Don't make him captain. He will play better without that responsiblity.
