the blind assistant referee - tackle occurred less than 2m from the man on the sideline, player remained within 4m another 6 or so seconds . . . what does he need, bigger numbers, or a trail of breadcrumbs to follow?

David Rennie has said that a yellow card would have been an injustice. Good on David Rennie! Morahan¿s tackle was clean. The momentum caused Williams to lose his footing which resulted in him falling backwards uncontrolled. There was no malice, nor was there technically anything wrong with Morahan¿s tackle. This incident highlights how officiously ludicrous the policing of ¿tip tackles¿ has become. We saw Digby Ioane get 5 weeks(!) because Marcel Coetzee leapt into the tackle, thereby falling backwards froma height upon contact.

Oh an off the field yellow card and he stayed on the field and helped stop the Chiefs scoring. Well done Mr Lees. Didn't get a number what a joke. Sheer incompetence.

the touchies have been an absolute joke, to the point where they are actually not doing their job

Just to clarify, what does an off-field yellow card actually mean? Morahan can still play next week, correct?

I don't understand why the officials can't check the stadium screens to confirm the number of the guilty player.
