London Irish back-row Chris Hala'ufia has received a four-week suspension for a dangerous tackle against Sale last weekend.
Hala'ufia was cited for his hit on Sale flanker David Seymour during the Sharks' 15-3 Aviva Premiership victory at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday.
The former Tonga international was called to appear before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing, where he was found guilty of a tip tackle on Seymour.
Hala'ufia is now suspended until January 19, which means he will be sidelined for four matches in all competitions.
The 35-year-old is banned for the Premiership matches against Gloucester and Worcester, as well as the Amlin Challenge Cup fixtures against Lusitanos XV and I Cavalieri Prato.
