London Irish centre Setaimata Sa has been ruled out for the rest of the season, having made just one appearance for the Exiles.
Sa joined the club from rugby league side Catalan Dragons earlier this season, but his debut was delayed until March following visa complications and injury.
The Samoa international created an assist for Guy Armitage in Irish's heavy defeat at Franklin's Gardens, but has now been ruled out after requiring minor knee surgery in order to be fit for pre-season.
"Minor surgery needed so im gud to go for pre season and be hundred percent for next season.Cud of carried on but medics choice," said Sa in a tweet.
