England and London Irish hooker David Paice admits his side are desperate to level the scores against Harlequins on Saturday.

The Exiles lost out at home to the champions earlier in the season after Tom Casson won the match with a bizarre finish at the Madejski Stadium.

Irish sit only five points clear of Sale Sharks at the bottom of the Aviva Premiership table, but Paice believes that his side are playing well enough for results to turnaround.

"We feel like we owe them [Harlequins] one," said Paice to the Reading Chronicle.

"They won't intimidate us, they are a very good team but we should have beaten them at home and we have the belief we can beat them again.

"Playing at Twickenham it's almost like a final, a one-off game, we were happy with how we performed against them at our home ground and we are playing well."

"It feels like we are playing well and results aren't going our way, the biggest problem is trying to keep the belief."

"Everyone still believes what we are doing and we are playing well so just need to get the results.

"It's just confidence, I really believe that we showed that we can mix it with the top teams, we beat Northampton, should have beaten Quins, so the confidence and ability is there and whether it is rub of the green or confidence and belief, we have to keep doing what we are doing.

"It's been hard because we have been saying that all season. We have been playing well but giving away cheap tries, it's very hard at the moment."
