Dai Young: Happy with current form

Wasps boss Dai Young is hoping his side's unbeaten home form will be kept intact when they face Leicester at Adams Park on Sunday.

Young's side are five from five at the High Wycombe based ground this season, but he believes Sunday presents the biggest challenge yet.

"It's going to be a big step-up as it always is when you play a top four side," he said.

"People say that this is a good time to play Leicester when they are missing players to international duty, but they were probably missing a lot more last year when they came down to play us during the World Cup, and it was still a game that could have gone either way.

"The players they can bring in are still experienced recognisable players in their own right."

In the two week LV=Cup window, Wasps had mixed fortunes, losing away to Cardiff but winning at home to Worcester.

Young is pleased overall though with what he got out of the two weeks.

"Players who needed game-time got it and players who needed a break got it and I was very pleased to get a strong reaction and a win last weekend for our home fans," he said.

"Our form is good at Adams Park so far in that we are getting results, but we need to perform for 80 minutes on Sunday to keep that going.

"We have always wanted to create a fortress feel to Adams Park and our fans are really good there in that they get right behind us.

"We don't have the biggest crowds in the league but I'd bet that we have one of the loudest. If we can keep our form going that will only get better."
