Actually, Bath havent had a domimant scrummaging pack for years - which makes the current situation all the more unforgivable.

In the premiership everything starts up front, and for those of you who have played we all know that the whole psyche of a team is affected if you are second best in the forwards.

There have been ample opportunities to address this - yet the management have spectacularly failed to do so - look at the top sides; Leics, Saints and Sarries dont give an inch at scrum time, they attack the weaker teams, and have replacements who are better than our starters - it is all v well bringing in louw (great player) but upgrading the back row is pointless without addressing the set piece first.

I don't know what Sir I thinks he is playing at, but Mr Craig needs to take a hard look at the club set up, and indentify why recruitment has been so poor, and then take some action.

Meehan achieved a lot with a limited side - yet now, apparently we have the resources but cannot move forward (excuse the pun) - time for some tough decisions Mr Craig - Bath were never meant to be also rans, you understand that, and its up to you to move things on.

So he should imo only 2 seasons ago IIRC Bath had a great pack which was able to drive -scrum and get good go forwrd ball .Where has that all disappered to i wonder. The front row looked totally lost at the weekend and its not that they are bad or inexperianced players .Also they just dont seem to be competing effectivly at the breakdown these days either
