@nhsaints - biggest problem for Falcons is they cant hold onto their players - heaps of players playing every week have come through the Falcons academy. Even the Tigers have a reserve team of former Falconsī players.

Well done Newcastle, I've long thought London Irish were the only team I would happily see relegated from the Premiership and although that won't happen any time soon I really hope that Newcastle stay up...they're a club with a rich history and they play with pride, the only problem is all the big bottom clubs (wasps, Bath and Newcastle) are playing with their backs against the wall because of the expectations of their clubs and the clubs histories when (realistically) the only other potential team for the drop (worcester) have no massive expectations to be sticking around so are quite happy to scrap away at the lower middle end of the table...
