Jonny Wilkinson: A modern great

Toulon fly-half Jonny Wilkinson is set to play his final competitive match, when his side face Saracens in the Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff later this month.

Wilkinson, who won the 2003 World Cup in Australia with England, has also achieved several other personal and team accolades during a glittering professional career.

The 34-year-old has also suffered numerous injuries which lesser players would have succumbed to.

Wilkinson has broken world records and there are several statistics which illustrates that he has been one of the undoubted greats of the modern era.

Our friends at Bleacher Report take a look at eight statistics which backs up that claim. Check it out here.
