New Wales wing Eli Walker has praised Welsh legend Shane Williams for his advice and support after being called up for the Six Nations.
20-year old Walker has caught the eye with a string of impressive performance in the RaboDirect Pro12 and Heineken Cup, with his pace and footwork drawing comparisons to Williams, who now plays in Japan.
Williams tweeted a message of support to the young star following his selection, with Walker describing Williams as "a great friend."
"He's an outstanding player and a great friend as well. He's definitely something to look up to," said Walker to BBC Sport.
"I'd like to think I have learned a thing or two. He is any winger's hero in Wales and in world rugby.
"He is definitely someone I've looked up to since I started.
"I was fortunate to have a few years training with him coming through the academy and then stepping up to the senior squad."

Don't worry, we won't see very much of him this time round - unless Mr.Cuthbert gets injured, in which case, he'll be in, and deserve it. Most likely to get a few short appearances off the bench.

@whatisthis not he couldn't get on, it was rotation policy, all the big clubs do it, especially when you've got Trimble and Bowe to rotate him with...anyway Walker is a promising player but he's got quite some way to go yet...

Hope they don't hype up this 20 yr old too much...he'll be a lions starter in a couple of weeks if they carry on like this. he has scored 5 tries this season. Good but not great.
Did the same with craig gilroy a couple of months ago. the next week he couldn't even get on the ulster team.
