All Ireland, you say? Oh that is funny.

And only a month or so after the debacle of the Irish scrum at Twickenham.

Keep it up, lads.

btw, great name, howrtings.

to be honest I'm more pashed off with the ineptitude of that useless waste of space, Poite, then I am Afoa.

Poite clearly saw it and bottled it. He's a terrible ref and it will take a player getting injured for him to be brought to heel.

It was a bad tackle - at the match and it was obvious from the stand that he should have received his marching orders for 10 mins AT LEAST!!

After watching it back on TV, I would have to disagree with ADAMK, and say that he did piledrive him into the ground, and Jones was lucky to come out of it uninjured.

I hope he doesn;t miss the Semi's however, because an All-Ireland HC Final would be superb for the game after a very disappointing 6N, and he would be a massive loss against a good Edinburgh Scrum.

Options if he's out are Adam Macklin who's a very good, yet raw tight head. Or play Tom Court at 3 and bring in Paddy McAllister to 1, which seems a better option to me

I think if he's clever he'll plead guilty, and get a very low end ban. It wasn't much of a tip tackle, legs went up over the horizontal a tad and he is obviously trying to level the player back to horizontal rather than just pile driving him. He'll be back before the quarters I'd imagine, there wasn't much in it.

If he pleads not guilty however....

Oh you afficionados.

Who is MT?

Think it will be upheld and he will get a decent ban. Who plays tight when he is out.

totally agree with you liam2me....the citing's over the years have been pathethic...I am still confused about the penalty handed to MT last year before the WC...he will probably get the three weeks and compare that to 5 weeks for three punches to the head...

If he was English he would probably get away with it or a pathetic excuse for a ban, a la Hartley. If he had done it to an English player, Sky would have ensured he got the max
