Jerome Porical Perpignan v Treviso

Kicked well: Jerome Porical

Perpignan got the job done in Italy on Saturday as they claimed a five-try 44-9 victory over Treviso to move them temporarily top of Pool Five.

Treviso had caused a massive upset by beating the Catalan outfit in last season's competition and they looked capable of pulling off another shock when three penalties from fly-half Willem de Waal put them 9-3 up.

But full-back Jerome Porical kicked his second and third penalties for the visitors to level the scores by half-time before Perpignan ran amok after the break as Gregory Le Corvec, Farid Sid, Nicolas Laharrague, and Julien Candelon (two) all crossed to seal a comfortable win.

The French side are likely to need at least a win from their final pool clash with the Scarlets if they are to progress as group winners.
