O'Connor: To remain a spectator

Wallabies' backs James O'Connor and Pat McCabe have returned to Australia's training squad, but the former won't face Argentina on Saturday.

O'Connor, back from a hamstring injury, is targeting a return against South Africa in Pretoria on September 30 and won't be picked for this weekend's Rugby Championship match with the Pumas.

McCabe, meanwhile, has made a full recovery from a foot injury that kept him from participating in all three Rugby Championship matches to date. He's expected to win selection - possibly on the bench - for the Test to be played on the Gold Coast.

JOC is best player. His injuries need to be managed properly and not rushed into anything.

R. Deans has in the past forced the player's injuries and the result is in front of all. Just back his suitcases and send him to Tonga.
