Brian O'Driscoll officially became the most-capped player in the history of Test rugby after taking the field against Italy on Saturday.

In his final home international, O'Driscoll breaks George Gregan's 139-Test mark while also going to the top of the Six Nations appearances list (64 matches).

140 Tests, 139 starts, 132 matches for Ireland and 8 appearances for the British and Irish Lions

Ireland's most-capped player and record try scorer (46 tries).

The Six Nations' most-capped player and record try scorer (26 tries).

A record 83 matches as Ireland captain between November 2002 and June 2012, with 52 victories and 1 draw.
